10/11 - Just before 05:00 Saturday Kuhl Hose was dispatched to Bennett Rd for a structure fire. 68L1 arrived on scene, reported a 40ft x 40ft garage fully involved and assumed command. 68L1 reported 1 occupant missing and possibly trapped inside.  Due to the heavy fire involvement initial exterior operation were ordered. Engine 683 arrived, stretched a 5" supply to the end of the driveway, pulled a 2-1/2” attack line and made an aggressive attack on the fire.  They also used 2 - 1 3/4" lines to attack the fire and protect the exposure.  Engine 682 picked up the supply line and setup water supply with Tenders 685, 686, 705 and 176. 

Engine 704 set up a tender fill site at a farm pond a short distance from the scene.  Crews from Engine 362, 432, 172 and truck 249 also assisted with containing and extinguishing the fire. 148 held the RIT assignment. Once the fire was under control, overhaul was performed and a search was continued.  The State Police Fire Marshal and the Coroner were notified when a male occupant was located.  The fire is under investigation by the Fire Department, Coroners Office and State Police
