01/07/12 - So that a majority of the members of Edinboro Fire could enjoy watching fellow firefighters play in the 2nd annual Guns and Hoses hockey game, Kuhl Hose provided  some coverage for the day at Station #38.  Along with a few other members from other departments we staffed the Engine and Ambulance from early afternoon into the evening.  Crews handled several EMS runs during the early afternoon hours, and just before 20:00 Sta #38 was sent to Waterford and Ontario St at the Laundromat for a Structure Fire.   382 responded with 6 of those from Kuhl Hose & North Warren Fire members covering the station.  On arrival the report was a single story strip plaza, smoke showing.  With no visible fire, crews took several water cans and investigated.  Other crews stretched a dry 1 3/4" line and also set up to supply 382 engine.  Crews located and reported a fire in a dryer.  The fire was quickly contained and extinguished using just 2 water cans.  384 covered the water supply and had it's crew check for extension in the other strip plaza business', while 389 arrived and assisted with ventilation.  No injuries were reported and the fire is under investigation by the Edinboro Fire Department.
