10/01/10 - Rescue/Pumper 683 and Harborcreek Rescue 228 were requested to assist Brookside at RT 430 & Wales Rd for a vehicle accident with entrapment. Harborcreek L-2 arrived and reported 2 patients one pinned with serious injuries. On scene 683 stabilized the vehicle, removed the roof and doors to make access to the patient. 683 worked with 228's crew to accomplish the rescue tasks using both Holmatro and Hurst tools. Brookside 247 & 257, with Medic 193 treated and transported the patients to Hamot Shock Trauma once extricated. PSP is investigating the accident.
