3/28 - Sunday afternoon, Kuhl Hose was dispatched to assist Edinboro at a working fire on Meadville Street.  Engine 382 arrived and reported a 2-1/2 story multi-residential structure working fire on the second floor. Crews made an initial interior attack but needed to use defensive operations as portions of the building began to collapse.  As additional engine companies arrived on scene they assisted with suppression efforts. Multiple water supplies were established from both the municipal hydrant system as well as nearby Edinboro Lake. 1st alarm companies had been operating for about an hour prior to Kuhl Hose being requested to standby at Edinboro Station 38.  Minutes later the assignment was changed RIT to the scene.

On arrival 68-RIT setup on the B-C corner of the structure, while 29-RIT was at the A-D corner.  Chief 29 was working as the RIT command.  Structural stability was a concern and an exterior attack was made with master streams off 389, 479 and 449.  Once the bulk of the fire had been knocked down crews performed extensive overhaul.  Kuhl Hose units remained on the scene for several hours.
