Hose RIT was dispatched to assist Belle Valley on Shultz
Rd. Belle Valley was sent for a working house fire with
entrapment. 683 arrived and set up the RIT staging area
on Side B. Belle Valley crews made a quick attack to
hold the fire while other crews set ladders and rescued
the homeowners from a 2nd floor balcony where they
escaped the fire and waited for FD arrival. The fire
was under control in about an hour with crews remaining
for several hours for overhaul operations. Kearsarge,
Perry Hiway, & West Ridge also assisted at the scene.
The fire is under investigation.
