Greenfield Township - Greenfield Fire Department along with Kuhl Hose, Harborcreek, Fuller and Brookside were dispatched to the 9400 block of Prindle Rd for a structure fire.  Chief 240 arrived on scene and reported a working fire.  704 Engine arrived on scene and the crew made an initial interior attack.  224 Engine laid a supply line and 225 Engine set up water supply at the road.  A back up line was stretched by 224 Engines crew.  Crews were pulled from the building and conducted exterior operations after a portion of the roof collapsed.

The fire was contained, but was not placed under control until a short time later.  Crews dealt with low water pressure at the hydrant and a 4 mile travel distance to bring water back to the scene.  Multiple relief crews were called in to replace the initial attack crews due to the extreme cold temperatures.  Crews were rotated at about 1 hr time intervals.

No one was home at the time of the fire.  There were no injuries reported and the fire is under investigation by the State Police Fire Marshal.
