02/17/06 - 22:40 - Kuhl Hose was dispatched to the 11200 block of West Greene Rd for a structure fire.  Initial dispatch information reported multiple calls reporting heavy smoke and fire.  685 Tender arrived on scene and reported a large garage/barn working fire.  685 pulled in the driveway pulled 1 - 1 3/4" line and made a quick attack and held the fire until 683 Engine arrived and was able to make an interior attack.  683 Engine laid a 5" supply line from the road where it was picked up by 682 Engine for water supply.  682 along with 73 Engine set up 2 portable ponds and established the water source. 

683 & 682 crews pulled 2 - 2 1/2" lines and made an interior attack on the fire, which was quickly contained.  Crews from 71 Engine as well as Truck 30 assisted with ventilation and fire attack.  Kearsarge 443 Engine established the RIT staging area in front of 683 Engine.

Waterford 145 Engine and 71 Engine from Perry Hiway set up Tender fill sites at Chapmans Pond on West Greene Rd and Lewis' pond on Etter Rd.  The tanker task force included, Kuhl Hose 686, Wattsburg 173, 174, Waterford 144, Perry Hiway 77, and Mill Village 122.

Rehab was set up by 687 and Medic 193.  No injuries were reported. 

The fire is under investigation.
