Hiway with assistance from Kuhl Hose, Belle
Valley, Brookside, and Emergycare were
dispatched to the Quality Inn Rt 97 & I-90 for a
structure fire. The call reported a fire in the
wall, with smoke showing. First arriving units
reported smoke showing. Crews found a fire in
room #206 that may have started near or in an
air conditioning unit. The fire spread to the
wall around the unit and caused smoke to spread
to several other rooms. The fire was quickly
brought under control. Crews were on scene for
about an hour checking for extension and
performing overhaul.
No injuries were
reported.
