Early afternoon presented Kuhl Hose, Perry Hiway and Belle Valley Fire Departments with an interesting situation.  Kuhl Hose was called to the 9800 blk of Lake Pleasant Rd for an investigation of Smoke in a building.  On arrival crews found problems with a fire place and faulty flue, combined with high winds which was causing smoke to fill the residence.

Shortly after arrival Kuhl Hose was dispatched for another investigation in the 9300 blk of Lake Pleasant Rd for an electrical fire.  On arrival Kuhl Hose and Perry Hiway crews found a high voltage electrical line that had come off of the utility pole, and striking the service wire from the utility pole running to the house.  Crews found light smoke in the residence and a fire in the electrical panel in the basement.  Crews extinguished the fire and awaited the power utility company to arrive.  Residences in the area were checked by the companies on scene and one other residence was adversely affected.  Power was secured to both building and the scene was left to the utility company.

Fire Police helped secured the area until the power was secured.  

Crews were on scene for just over an hour.
